Since obstetric care often follows its own unique schedule, we believe that having all of our physicians working together will provide better treatment for our pregnant patients than each could individually.
During the course of your pregnancy, you will have the opportunity to meet each of the practice’s obstetricians and our nurse practitioner. The physicians discuss care and non-routine issues at regular conferences and develop a treatment plan for each patient based on this information. When labor ensues, the obstetrician assigned to the hospital on that date will attend the patient during her labor and delivery. All deliveries occur at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, in the Center for Women’s Health.
